“One of the reasons why the Brussels negotiations, as well as the last meeting at the technical level, become meaningless and do not lead towards the interests of the Serbian community, lies in the quality of the Serbian government’s representatives who lead the talks. They, as well the local representatives and academics are passive,” considered Živorad Lazić from the Serbian national forum.  “At one time, the Kingdom of Serbia hired its greatest intellectuals, such as Branislav Nušić, Milan Rakić, and academician Elezović. Who is today hired by the state of Serbia for solving the problems,” asks Lazić.

Analyst Nexhmedin Spahiu recalls that the delegations are spending the peoples’ money. “It is regrettable that the dialogue is prolonged and that there are even unsuccessful meetings. People who lead negotiations between Belgrade and Pristina should think about it, and go much faster and more efficient in solving problems that are burdening both sides,” said Spahiu.
