Tuesday is the last day for French consortium ‘MDP Consulting – Compagnie des Alpes’ to confirm that it managed to provide EUR 163 million, the amount the company has obliged to invest in the first phase of the construction of the new ski center in Brezovica.
Guarantees about the said amount should be submitted to the Kosovo Ministry for Trade and Industry, which has already postponed the deadline for submission of the financial guarantees due to company’s failure to provide financial guarantees.
Pristina-based dailies reported that French consortium is trying to avoid the failure by signing an agreement with other strong companies which would be included in the project. According to Koha-ditore daily French company is having ongoing talks about the realization of the project in Brezovica with the Turkish company ‘Limak’, which is managing Pristina airport for years, and has built completely new airport building and raised the level of services.
Ministry for Trade and Industry stated that they can’t say what would be the future of the plan offered by the French consortium before Tuesday, when is the deadline for meeting conditions in the first phase of the agreement.
