Kosovo’s Prime Minister, Isa Mustafa, today appointed Hajredin Kuçi in the post of Deputy Prime Minister and Enver Hoxhaj as the new Foreign Minister. Kuçi will also hold the Justice Minister post for the time being. During a joint press conference with the PDK leader Kadri Veseli, Mustafa said the changes made today will contribute to government’s efficiency and its goals.
On the other hand, Veseli said the new appointments are part of the governance reforms. He invited the opposition parties to take responsibility, adding that the coalition will continue to carry out international obligations. “We will continue to fulfill the international obligations with a view to strengthening the sovereignty of this country. The agreements on the Association/Community of Serb-majority municipalities and border-demarcation with Montenegro will not violate Kosovo’s sovereignty. We will act in the interests of our citizens,” Veseli said.
