“In the Kosovo north, no one thinks about the census. This topic does not interest them, at all,” said in the talk show “Dogovor” Ksenija Božović, Vice president of the Civic Initiative SDP. Božović believes that carrying out the census in four Serbian municipalities in northern Kosovo, as Pristina announced, is not necessary because, there are more important issues to be addressed, such as security of citizens and the return of displaced persons. “I think that people in the north are not interested in that topic. In order to hold a census many preconditions should be fulfilled. One should talk with the citizens. Who can force citizens to participate in the census? No one. If they don’t want, no one can force them to participate,” said Božović.
