The next meeting between Prime Ministers Thaçi and Dacic will be based on the Serbian resolution, endorsed by Serbia’s Assembly. With this, Prime Minister Thaçi will face what he pledged will remain ‘in the drawers’ of Belgrade’s old politics, reported KTV.

Kosovo does not have a platform like Serbia’s, but it insists on Ahtisaari’s package and the Constitution. Vetëvendosje movement considers that after the endorsement of the resolution by Serbia’s Assembly, dialogue does not concern normalization of relations, but Kosovo’s status. The opposition considers that the Government does not have any legitimate or institutional basis to continue the dialogue with Serbia.

According to Serbian daily Politika, except for the issue of the north, financing the UNMIK administration in the north will also be discussed at the meeting planed for 17 January. Illegal structures in the north also request to discuss the problem of the functioning of the UNMIK office in the north Mitrovica at the meeting of the 17 January between Thaçi and Dacic.
