Association of Journalists of Serbia (UNS) and Association of Journalists of Kosovo and Metohija (DNKiM) have requested responsibility of those who violated the law in relation with the election of the director of the Radio Television Kosovo channel in the Serbian language.
The Associations have issued a communique saying that they warned the RTK Board on time about irregularities in relation with the election of the director of RTK2, however despite this warning the Board intentionally violated the Law on RTK and elected a candidate who does not fulfil the set requirements for the post. This was later confirmed and by the Ministry of Labor’s inspection, which dealt with the issue following a complaint of one of the candidates.
