The MP of the Serbian List in the Kosovo assembly Nenad Rašić said that the team, or working group, for drafting the Statute of the Association / Community of Serb Municipalities (A/CSM) had not yet been formed. Rašić said that the stories about the formation of such a team are speculation. “The media reported that this team should supposedly consist of four mayors from northern Kosovo. This is untrue. Such a concept would be incorrect, because then in the team would work only people from the north of Kosovo,” said Rašić.
He said that, with full respect for all the mayors, the team should be composed of representatives of the south and the north of Kosovo, professional people who are working for a long time in the Kosovo institutions and who know how the statute of A/CSM can be incorporated within the system of Kosovo.
