DSS Provincial Board for Kosovo and Metohija in its latest press release supports the former President Sanda Rašković-Ivić in the attitude that “in no case” should be made up a coalition with the Serbian Progressive Party in Voždovac, and especially not in Vračar, because the municipality of Vračar is a “symbol of resistance to dictatorship of Aleksandar Vučić.”

The Board once again reiterates that “the regime of Aleksandar Vučić” conducts “brutal repression” against members of the Democratic Party of Serbia from Kosovo, when at the same time, “some parts of the party enter into a coalition with the Serbian Progressive Party.”

Thus, for example, a few months ago, Nebojša Đorđević was beaten, a member of the municipal committee of DSS in Kosovska Mitrovica just because he wrote on his Facebook profile that Aleksandar Vučić betrayed Kosovo and Metohija. Somewhat earlier, vehicle of Marko Jakšić, a member of the Presidency of the DSS, was torched. On the election day Slaviša Ristić’s family home was attacked with bombs and machine-gun, the Vice President of DSS and the current MP in the Serbian parliament,” the DSS press release says at the end.

Although the Provincial Board do not approve resignation of Rašković-Ivić, on the other hand, it “fully understands” this act, assessing it as “highly moral, deeply principled and fully in line with the program and principles of the Democratic Party of Serbia.”
