The mother of the murdered Serbian teenager, on Tuesday, removed the wreath placed at the monument in the village Goraždevac, in Peć municipality, a day earlier by Kosovo President Hashim Thaçi.
Senka Jovović, whose son Ivan (19) was killed in 2003 with another 13-year-old when they were shot by attackers who have not been discovered to this day, took the wreath to the police station.
“Why didn’t [Thaçi] find the killers of our children”, said Jovović, adding that if she had known in advance that the Kosovo President would lay a wreath, that could only have happened “over
her dead body”.
