The head of the parliamentary group of the Serbian List Slavko Simić, along with the MP Nenad Rašić and Deputy Minister of Labour and Social Welfare Mirjana Jevtić, have received representatives of “Kacarevo” and “Ruda i keramika Kosova” to discuss the problems of workers with temporary pensions.

Workers of “Kacarevo” have received the decision, in April this year, on the elimination of pensions, based on the law that approves pensions of the Albanian colleagues. It’s about 84 workers who meet all the conditions for retirement, but have been rejected. They have launched legal proceedings related to this case.

“It is certain that we are talking about discrimination, but I still hope that the institutions will be sensitive to this issue and that we will sort it out because it affects a large number of people and families. In the future we will stand up for them and try to influence the respect of the law,” said Simić, said a statement of the Serbian List submitted to Serbian media.
