Unknown perpetrators stole two cows and a calf to Dimitrije Jevtić i the village Ajnovce, municipality of Kamenicë/Kamenica.

This is only one in an ongoing series of thefts in recent moths which occur in Serbian areas south of the Ibar.

Dragiša Savić, Deputy Mayor of Kamenica for RTV Puls says that he is “powerless” to prevent the frequent theft of livestock, vehicles, forests and other property of Serbs in this region.

“I sent the request to the mayor to convene an extraordinary meeting of the Committee on Security, to which were invited the representatives of the Kosovo Police. I will insist that the police protect the Serb property, which is the target of criminals these days,” said Savić.

In recent days, in the Serbian communities of the Gjilan/Gnjilane region there were a number of organized thefts of property.

“They steal everything litteraly. Citizens are particularly concerned, because criminal groups are well-organized and armed which shows and the recent footage of a video surveillance, during the looting of the shop in the village Poneš,” said Savić for RTV Puls, and thus described the situation in Gjilan/Gnjilane villages inhabited by Serbian population.

Despite the fact that the police in all cases has carried out an investigation, the perpetrators are still unknown.
