Chairman of the Parliamentary Committee for Kosovo and Metohija Milovan Drecun says that Brussels will sooner or later have to respond to the decision of the Kosovo Assembly to appropriate the Mining and Metallurgy Plant Trepca, because the Serbian government has sent an official letter to the European Community about it.

“Serbia does not have a lot of manoeuvring space, but there is possibility to stop and correct some unfavourable things, and to embark on a process negotiation. The problem of Trepca is extremely important for the survival of the Serbian people and cannot be solved without Belgrade and the Serbian people. Pristina tried to impose the will, by the violence of majority, which Serbian people do not accept,” said Drecun.
