EULEX’s cooperation with institutions will continue (RTK)

Today, the Commander of the EU’s Civilian Operations, Kenneth Deane, together with the EULEX chief Alexandra Papadopoulou met Deputy Prime Minister Hajredin Kuçi.

They discussed the current mandate of EULEX and its continuous engagements for the rule of law in Kosovo.

During the meeting, Deane stressed the importance of EULEX’s cooperation with Kosovo’s institutions, stressing the joint intention of development and implementation of the rule of law. “I am happy that I came again in Kosovo, as well as for the possibility to visit the Palace of Justice and the High Security Prison. EULEX will continue to offer advice to Kosovo’s Judicial Council and the Prosecutorial Council of Kosovo in order to strengthen further all the agencies that support the rule of law,” Kenneth Deane said
