Kosovo Minister for Communities and Return Dalibor Jevtić and Mayor of Suva Reka/Suharekë Sali Asllanaj today have expressed dissatisfaction over the opposition of the municipal councillors to the return of first Serb family to the Mušutište village, saying that this is violation of basic human rights.
“We have begun the process of returning to Mušutište in a transparent way, talking with representatives of all relevant institutions and communities about the return of the first 10 families and for that we had the full consent of all, in full compliance with all applicable laws and procedures,” said Jevtić.
He adds that the declaration adopted by the Municipal Assembly of Suva Reka/Suharekë, primarily is in contradiction to the Constitution of Kosovo, and violates basic human rights.
