“The Serbs will be institutionally safe if the Community of Serbian municipalities is formed as soon as possible”, whilst how strong it will be depends on Serbs themselves, said the Mayor of Gračanica, Vladeta Kostić, in a TV show ‘Dogovor’.
The Association/Community of Serbian municipalities (A/CSM) is an obligation that derives from the Brussels agreement, which will have to be fulfilled sooner or later, said Kostić. In relation to claims of the Serbian Prime Minister, Aleksandar Vučić that “Albanians want to turn A/CSM into a record playing company”, Kostić said that its strength will depend exclusively on Serbs. He added that the strength of the A/CSM will also depend on the credibility of people that will be at the helm of the A/CSM, what on the other hand depends on Serbs who live in Kosovo.
