The presidential candidate of the ruling coalition gathered around the Serbian Progressive Party (SNS) Aleksandar Vučić states that he will work on the preservation of peace in the region, but that he will never agree with the formation of the Kosovo Armed Forces.
Vučić said at a rally in Mladenovac that a turbulent period is before the region, but stressed that there are boundaries that Serbia does not cross “and will never cross.”
“Albanians in Kosovo and Metohija, beside its own Constitution that we do not recognize, want to form their own army. Serbia will never agree with the formation of the Kosovo’s army, they can pressure as much they want, we will seek peace, I’ll talk every day with the Kosovo Albanians, but we know what Serbian is and what we will never give to anyone,” said Vučić.
