The decision of the Prime Minister, Isa Msutafa, to nominate Ivan Todosijevic on the duty of the Minister of Administration of Local Government, has raised many reactions. However, Mustafa’s adviser, Bajram Gecaj, said that the nominations should be seen as further integration of Serbs.
Until yesterday, when he was nominated for the Minister, Teodosijevic, was parallel mayor of Zvecan/Zvecani municipality, structure financed by Serbia and considered illegal in Kosovo. According to analyst Imer Mushkolaj, Teodosijevic’s place is in jail and not at the government of Kosovo. “Instead of being arrested for leading an illegal structure, violating in this manner the constitutional order of Kosovo, Ivan Teodosijevic, is awarded with the position of Minister. At the same time, those who oppose these illegal structures get arrested,” Mushkolaj said.
However, according to Gecaj, there is no place for concern, being that Teodosijevic has already resigned from his previous position.
