Mimoza Kusari-Lila, leader of Alternativa, told the news website that she is certain that her party will not join the PDK-AAK-NISMA coalition, regardless of the decision of the Pacolli-led New Kosovo Alliance (AKR). Lila’s Alternativa and Pacolli’s AKR are in a coalition with the Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK). Kusari-Lila said talks with the Vetevendosje Movement will resume this week to reach a genuine government platform. She added that the Democratic Party of Kosovo (PDK) is responsible for the stalemate, because they do not want to accept that they need to nominate a different candidate for Assembly President. “Most political parties have said they don’t want to cooperate with the PDK. I believe this is one of the main reasons behind the blockade,” she said.
