Kosovo’s Minister for European Integration, Dhurata Hoxha, told the Kosovo Assembly’s Integration Committee today, that during her visit to Brussels she received clear messages from Commissioner Johannes Hahn that the demarcation deal with Montenegro needs to be ratified by the Kosovo Assembly in order to meet the final requirement for visa liberalisation. Hoxha also said Hahn called for greater civic pressure on the opposition and the Assembly to ratify the agreement. She said briefed Hahn about the new government’s steps on demarcation and that the clear advice she got in return was that the deal needs to be ratified before EU elections.
