Serbian List representatives are adamant that the Kosovo government must by all means establish the Association/Community of Serb-majority municipalities, the news website reports. Gracanica mayor and Serbian List member, Srdjan Popovic, called on the international community to pressure Pristina into forming the Association. “We all know who is blocking the establishment of the Association. I call on internationals to apply pressure so that this process can finally begin,” Popovic said. Asked to comment on the matter, the Kosovo government told the news website that the Association will be formed in accordance with Kosovo’s constitution and laws. “The Association of Serb-majority municipalities will be created with respect to the decision of the Constitutional Court and based on the Constitution and laws of Kosovo. There is no time pressure or other pressure but this matter will be addressed at the most optimal time,” the government said in a reply.
