Several media report that Kosovo’s Ambassador to the United States of America, Vlora Citaku, commented on a United Nations tribunal’s verdict today against Bosnian Serb military leader Ratko Mladic. The latter has been jailed for life for genocide and other atrocities committed during the 1990s Bosnian war. Citaku posted on Facebook: “It took more than two decades to bring justice to the victims of genocide in Srebrenica. It breaks my heart when I imagine the pain that the survivors had to go through. It hurts knowing that many responsible for massacres and terrible crimes in Kosovo have not been punished.”
