Deputy President of CI SDP Ksenija Božović says that she has been promised by Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić he would do everything so that the killers of Oliver Ivanović were soon found. “It really encouraged me” Božović said.
Deputy of the recently killed Oliver Ivanović, Ksenija Božović, attended the meeting with Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić in Mitrovica North. She said that there were a lot of topics, but that she was interested in only one answer.
“I had a question for him and I can say that I received a satisfactory answer, but only if it is realized. I asked him if the perpetrator would be found, I got the answer that they would do everything so that the perpetrator was found and prosecuted and he told me that any person would be arrested, whether it was a Serb, an Albanian or a foreigner. That encouraged me very much” Božović said.
She said the President promised that the competent authorities in Serbia would do everything possible and swiftly.
However, Božović said that she finds it worrisome that, in her view, the topic of the murder of Oliver Ivanović “was being watered down” because of the numerous information that is being placed through the media.
“That’s why I insisted that this is done quickly, which he promised. He encouraged us and I hope that everything that he told us here today, we will see very quickly on the ground. Unless there are changes on the ground, we talked for nothing/in vain for five hours today” Božović concluded.
