PM Haradinaj visits UK Parliament (media)

The Prime Minister of Kosovo, Ramush Haradinaj, visited on Monday the UK Parliament where he was welcomed at the session of the House of Representatives and by Speaker of Parliament John Bercow, accompanied by Martin Vickers, MP and leader of the Friendship Group for Kosovo in the British Parliament. The Speaker of Parliament wished welcome to Prime Minister Haradinaj and successes in his work.

“Honoured with the presence in the UK Parliament and closely following the work of the House of Representatives,” said Prime Minister Haradinaj.

“At the UK Parliament, Prime Minister Haradinaj met important personalities of this country, such as former NATO Secretary General Lord George Robertson, General Mike Jackson, First Commander of KFOR, Martin Vickers, Group Leader of friendship for Kosovo in the British Parliament, John Grogan, vice president of the Friendship Group for Kosovo in the British Parliament, Tim Judah, journalist at The Economist, Ben Emmerson and Jon Mitchell.
In this friendly meeting, Prime Minister Haradinaj cordially thanked everyone for their contribution that at different times helped Kosovo in its liberation and its state-building.
While saying that friendship with friends who helped Kosovo will continue in the future, Prime Minister Haradinaj added that Kosovo will always be grateful for the role and contribution they have given for our country and will work on maintaining partnership with the countries that helped liberation and state-building in Kosovo,” reads the press release issued by the Office of the Prime Minister of Kosovo.

Deputy Prime Minister of Kosovo, Dalibor Jevtić, Minister of Economic Development, Valdrin Lluka, Minister of European Integration, Dhurata Hoxha and Kosovo’s Ambassador in London, Lirim Greiçevci, were also present at the event.
