The president of the Assembly of Kosovo, Kadri Veseli met today with the US Ambassador to Kosovo, Greg Delawie. They discussed the latest political developments in Kosovo, with particular emphasis on the next plenary session where the border demarcation agreement with Montenegro is expected to be ratified.
Veseli informed the US Ambassador about the consensus reached between the ruling political parties and a part of the opposition on ratification of the agreement. He said he was optimistic that the agreement that will pave the way for visa liberalisation for Kosovo will be approved during Wednesday’s session.
Veseli and Delawie agreed that it is high time for Kosovo to ratify this agreement in order meet the deadlines for visa liberalisation during this year.
Ambassador Delawie appreciated Veseli’s role in finding consensus within political entities. He also reconfirmed the US support for Kosovo in all areas.
