A two-day international conference, championed by French President Emmanuel Macron under the banner “No Money for Terror,” is being held today in Paris. The conference will gather ministers of justice, finance, foreign affairs and the interior from Western countries, the Arab world and other nations as well as representatives of 18 international organizations.
Kosovo is being represented at this conference by the Minister for Foreign Affairs, Behxhet Pacolli and Minister for Internal Affairs, Bejtush Gashi.
At the different panels presided by French foreign, justice and internal affairs ministers, participants will discuss intensification of the joint war on interruption of financial sources for extremism and terrorism, with all means, including legal and intelligence ones.
“At this conference, Kosovo will defend its globally known position that international integration of the country in global security structures is of reciprocal interest and demonstrate great service that Kosovo as a young country does in the international war against a joint evil,” notes a press release issued by Kosovo’s Ministry for Foreign Affairs.
