The Association/Community of Serb-majority municipalities Management Team held a meeting today with directors of social welfare centres from areas with Serb majority as part of the process of drafting the Association/Community statute. Social welfare representatives expressed the need for the Association/Community to have links to Serbia’s social system and said the new mechanism should also have the right to establish social welfare institutions. Members of the Management Team said they will take into consideration this aspect in the drafting process.
