Deputy leader of the Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK) Lutfi Haziri, told Radio Free Europe that without LDK and political forces at the Assembly of Kosovo, the dialogue process with Serbia cannot be successful.

“We expect a parliamentary debate which determines the format, so who is the representative or representatives that will set the criteria of the discussions or confirm criteria if we can say now, to be transparent for the public. Of course, the more open the process at this level, the Assembly and its constitutional role would give absolute power both to delegation and discussions as well as eventual relations expected to establish by parties.

He added further that President Thaci is using constitutional mechanism which gives him legality.  “But we are talking about a legitimacy that would build political consensus within the parties,” Haziri said.
