Vetevendosje Movement caucus Glauk Konjufca accused today at the Assembly the President of Kosovo Hashim Thaci, saying that he is going to the discussions with Serbia without a platform. According to him, Thaci is harming Kosovo in the negotiations out of the fear from the Special Court.
“We have a president who goes and discusses with Vucic without any platform and puts Kosovo on the table of discussions. Therefore, the fourth red line will be for president Thaci himself, because we think that that individual is unsustainable to defend Kosovo’s interests. There is another reason why he should not lead the dialogue: he is being afraid from the Special Court. His great fear can harm Kosovo in this process,” Konjufca said.
He added further that the president is going to discussions with his Serbian counterpart without being mandated.
He said that for Thaci, it is more important to take a picture with Vucic than to draft a platform. “The truthful discussion should happen at the Assembly where the voice of the population can be heard and platform of the interests of Kosovo on the genuine red lines for Serbia, decided” Konjufca concluded.
