Leader of the Liberal Democratic Party in Serbia, Cedomir Jovanovic, announced that in September his party will propose a clear plan for agreement with Kosovo and will also form a so-called coalition for peace which he said will contribute to resolving the issue of Kosovo. He said President of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic cannot give support to Kosovo’s government led by Ramush Haradinaj while at the same time continuing campaign in Belgrade that damages relations with Albanians the price of which is always borne by Kosovo Serbia “who only want security and normal life for themselves and their families.” “Serbia needs peace. Compromise with Albanians is not only a matter of agreement between two people but paves way for closing the last remaining open topic in the region which can cause some new war,” Jovanovic said.
