„Representatives of the Srpska Lista in Kosovo and Metohija hurried to throw a stone at our Bishop Teodosije who carries a cross for his people but none of them lifted a finger to help Decani Monastery in the problem with the illegal road construction. International representatives care more about the problems we are facing than them. Whom do they actually represent?“ the Abbot of Visoki Decani Monastery Sava Janjic posted during the weekend via social network.
Meanwhile, Srpska Lista reacted and accused the Bishop Teodosije of “throwing stones” at the Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic, who “did more for the churches and monasteries in Kosovo than any other Serb representative“. They further accused the Bishop of attacking his own state, without even trying to talk to Srpska Lista about these issues, KoSSev portal reported.
„Now it’s completely clear to us with whom, unfortunately, he did talk to. We now completely understand why you have been silent about everything we did while fighting to stop the construction of the road next to the Decani Monastery,“ Srpska Lista officials underlined.
The Srpska Lista leadership last week criticized the clergy of the Serbian Orthodox Church in Kosovo – from Belgrade television studios, after Bishop Teodosije’s appeal against the partition and exchange of territories in Kosovo, and warnings that such a solution would lead to an exodus of Kosovo Serbs, KoSSev portal added.
