Leader of the Social Democratic Initiative (NISMA) and Kosovo’s Deputy Prime Minister, Fatmir Limaj, said no institutional leader, including the president and prime minister, have the right to discuss on Kosovo’s behalf about an arrangement resembling that of Republika Srpska in Bosnia and Herzegovina. “We cannot and will never allow a ‘Republika Srpska’ in Kosovo,” Limaj said. He emphasized that Kosovo has not yet entered the final stage of dialogue with Serbia which, in his view, must end in mutual recognition. He also said the dialogue cannot be led by one individual but by a negotiating team that would involve ruling and opposition parties, as well as the civil society.
