Albin Kurti, leader of Vetevendosje Movement, said today there should be no trade on border between Kosovo and Serbia and added that the north of Kosovo cannot be given for Presevo Valley. Kurti said Kosovo government should allocate more funds for Presevo Valley, which he called “eastern Kosovo.”
He said that according to information he possesses, presence of Serbian gendarmerie in Bujanovac has increased.
Speaking about the idea of President of Kosovo Hashim Thaci to adjust the borderline, Kurti said Thaci wants to give the north away without taking Presevo Valley. Kurti made these statements during the opening ceremony of the meeting with Kosovo Diaspora at Vetvendosje Headquarters.
