Kosovo’s Foreign Minister Behgjet Pacolli said in an interview with Tirana-based channel Ora news that the import tax on Serbia and Bosnia and Herzegovina will not be lifted and that he has been calling for such a measure since 2007 as he doubted the quality of goods coming into Kosovo. “I feared that Serbia’s factories worked through two lines of production: one for products coming into Kosovo and the other for home consumption,” Pacolli said. He denied Kosovo has violated the CEFTA agreement by introducing tariffs on Serbian and Bosnian goods and said Serbia is the one that has violated the free trade deal.
