Kosovo’s Deputy Prime Minister and co-head of the Kosovo Negotiating Team, Fatmir Limaj, said in an interview with RTV21 that if Serbia is not ready to talk about recognising Kosovo, “Goodbye and call us when you’re ready.” “We don’t want to prolong the process, we want an agenda, a timeline,” Limaj said. He called on all political parties to overcome their “party calculations” and give the dialogue with Serbia a chance. Limaj said time is of the essence and that two months already went by with debates on the tax for products from Serbia and Bosnia. “Political decisions are not permanent. There are tens of reasons why we introduced the tax. The tax will now have to be renegotiated with Serbia while Bosnia is ready to begin renegotiations today. Serbia has also given signals,” he said.
