Serbian Minister of Health condemns prevention of humanitarian aid delivery (Tanjug, B92)
Serbian Minister of Health, Zlatibor Loncar in the strongest terms condemned Pristina’s decision to stop humanitarian aid dedicated to the Health Centre in Mitrovica North, Tanjug news agency reported.
Minister Loncar also urged the international community to react to this gross violation of fundamental human rights.
“Does it take a child to die in XXI century due to lack of antibiotics of any other medicaments in order for the EU and USA to react to the most flagrant examples of violation of fundamental human rights of the Serb people in Kosovo and Metohija (..).” Minister Loncar said in a press statement.
Union of Women from Belgrade’s Vracar municipality tried to deliver humanitarian aid and toys for children to the Health Centre in Mitrovica North, but were prevented to enter Kosovo at Jarinje crossing point, under explanation that they are a threat to the security in Kosovo, Tanjug recalled.
