Civic Initiative SDP – Oliver Ivanovic welcomed the decision of EULEX to grant provisional release pending trial to the former mayor of Zubin Potok Municipality Slavisa Ristic.

CI SDP – Oliver Ivanovic expects EULEX to bring the same decision in the case of Oliver Ivanovic.

“Honestly, we hope that this decision is an announcement of the fairer treatment of cases where Serbs were held suspects by EULEX. With that regard we expect our leader, Oliver Ivanovic, to be granted provisional release pending trial, taking into particular account that he has being held in detention for more than nine months without any grounds and that prosecution has interviewed all witnesses,” reads the statement.
