A delegate from Kosovo in the Serbian Assembly Vladeta Kostic stated that the Serbs elected into the Kosovo institutions need to be recognized by the Serb community as those that are able accomplish the goals.
Kostic said that when it comes to Serbs’ presence in the future government in Pristina, that the number of ministries is not important, than an agreement with the representatives of the Kosovo Albanians. Kostic said that it is very important to achieve good agreement with Kosovo Albanians on the participation of Serbs in the government and to see what are the topics of interest of the Serbian community in Kosovo.
When speaking about the Community of Serbian municipalities (ZSO), Kostic said that the ZSO has to be recognized by systems of Serbia and Kosovo, and in order to do it then both Parliaments have to pass the appropriate laws.
"If we have these two laws, then these laws protect those covered by the ZSO and those are Serbs. We can seek our rights in both systems and in this case, we can, if the rights are violated we can seek the justice before the court in Strasbourg," said Kostic.
