Serbia has nothing against signing of the SAA (KiM radio)

Serbia does not mind if Kosovo sign the SAA with the EU, said Milovan Drecun.

Drecun said that Serbia does not oppose that the European Union sign the Stabilisation and Association Agreement with Kosovo. "Brussels Agreement stipulates that Serbia and Kosovo will not obstruct each other on the road to the EU. The EU is trying to stabilize the situation in Kosovo, let us remember the recent large migrations from Kosovo to the EU countries," said Drecun.

Drecun pointed out that the decision of the Serbian List to return to Kosovo institutions is the result of a process that did not happen suddenly: “Kosovo Albanian leaders learned that the capacity of the existing Assembly in Pristina is weakened without the Serbian list and there is no full legitimacy. This time Prime Minister of Kosovo gave strong assurances that coalition agreement will be respected and that implementation of the agreement on Community/Association of the Serbian municipalities must start. If this does not happen, the problem will appear again,” said Drecun.
