Đurić: We seek conditions for a peaceful and safe life of Serbs (KIM radio, Dnevnik)

Director of the Office for Kosovo and Metohija says, in an interview with Dnevnik,  daily based in Novi Sad, that the goal of the Brussels-based dialogue is a new climate in the region.

This indicates that the Albanian side will no longer be able to push certain issues under the rug such as property.

Stojanovic: I expect forthcoming elections without problems (Dnevnik)

Kosovo Deputy Prime Minister, Branimir Stojanovic confirmed to Dnevnik that the upcoming elections for the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia will be held in Kosovo. It means that the elections will be organized in all Serbian areas in coordination and with the assistance of the OSCE and other relevant international organizations.

Janjic: The unification of Albania and Kosovo mission impossible (Dnevnik)

- The government has no plan for the property in Kosovo and Metohija - told Fonet president of the Serbian National Party Nenad Popovic, adding that the first step is to impose such an urgent issue in talks with representatives of the international community.

Popovic points out that "we have to protect previous investments of the public enterprises in Kosovo, such as NIS, EPS, JAT, PTT, "Serbian Railways" and "Roads of Serbia". According to him, it is necessary to "valorise their claims from the period before 1999, which is guaranteed by the UN Security Council resolution."

Petrovic: There will be no quarrel over posts in the government (Dnevnik)

The leader of the Independent Liberal Party (SLS), Slobodan Petrovic confirmed for Dnevnik that the Serbian list would accept to be part of the new ruling coalition in Kosovo, while he denied that some special conditions would be placed for Hashim Thaci and Isa Mustafa. Petrovic, who has been vice president of Thaci's previous government, explains that the basis for discussion would be topics that are on the table from day one - the issue of return, the formation of the ZSO, privatization, SPC and economic status of the Serbian community.

NOVI SAD - Oliver Ivanovic, leader of the Citizens' Initiative 'Freedom, Democracy, Justice“ (SDP) and the most famous prisoner in Kosovo-Metohija (KiM), said Sunday that the participation of KiM Serbs in the new government in Pristina, in full coordination with the Serbian government, could prove a far more efficient way to promote their vital interests.
