Dialogue on Community of Serb Municipalities to resume (Beta,Tanjug, B92)

Expert-level delegations of Belgrade and Pristina will continue in Brussels on Monday the dialogue on the Association/Community of Serb Municipalities (A/CSM). They will also discuss telecommunications and other open issues, Tanjug reported. Belgrade's delegation is headed by the director of the Serbian Government’s Office for Kosovo and Metohija, Marko Đjurić.

Director of the Office for Kosovo and Metohija says, in an interview with Dnevnik,  daily based in Novi Sad, that the goal of the Brussels-based dialogue is a new climate in the region.

This indicates that the Albanian side will no longer be able to push certain issues under the rug such as property.

Đurić allowed to enter Kosovo (Kosovapress)

The competent Kosovo institutions have approved the request of the director of the Office for Kosovo in the Serbian government, Marko Đurić, and other delegations to enter Kosovo for the celebration of the feast of "Vidovdan" at Gazimestan. The news site reports that Đurić will participate in the celebration of "Vidovdan" in Gazimestan, to continue then at 16:00, in Mitrovica North where the statue of Tsar Lazar will be unveiled.  Sources told the news site that Đuric will not be allowed to change the planned agenda.

Đurić: Hardly attainable normalization of relations between Serbs and Albanians (Blic, Sputnik)

Director of the Serbian Government Office for Kosovo and Metohija, Marko Đurić said this evening that "the persistent aggressive rhetoric", which often is veiled and sometimes not even that, or anti-Serb, by individuals in Pristina, creates negative social climate in which is difficult to achieve normalization of relations between Serbs and Albanians.

Djuric: Serbia can join EU only as integral country (Tanjug)

Serbia's position on Kosovo-Metohija's membership in international organisations is unchanged, the head of the government Office for Kosovo-Metohija Marko Djuric said Tuesday, reiterating that only an integral Serbia can be an EU member state.

Commenting on reports by some Serbian media that Germany will not ratify the agreement on Serbia's EU accession until Kosovo becomes a full UN member, Djuric said:

Djuric: No mechanism for return of property of IDPs (Tanjug)

In Serbia, there are 204,049 internally displaced persons (IDPs) from Kosovo-Metohija, the director of the Serbian government office for Kosovo-Metohija said on Tuesday, noting that the return of Serbs and other non-Albanians is limited by a lack of a mechanism for a return of usurped property.

Seventeen years after the conflict in Serbia's southern province, the problem of displaced persons remains, Djuric said at the third high-level regional forum on permanent solutions for displaced persons from Kosovo-Metohija.
