Serbia and President Vucic do not hide Kosovo issue under the carpet, instead they try to resolve it, Office for Kosovo and Metohija Director, Marko Djuric told Prva TV.

Djuric added, Serbia pursues responsible politics and wants to resolve difficult issues, instead of hiding them. Djuric assessed the meeting President Vucic had in Austria with Hashim Thaci as difficult.

The Holy Archbishop’s Synod of the Serbian Orthodox Church (SOC) after the summer recess should hold a session on 30 August, however, it remains unclear whether the Synod would deal with attacks of the state officials against Raska-Prizren Eparchy Bishop Teodosije and Abbot of Visoki Decani Monastery, Father Sava Janjic, Danas daily reports today.

Srpska Lista on the occasion of two decades since the kidnapping of Serbian journalists Djuro Slavuj and Ranko Perenic in the area of Orahovic said this case must be resolved and the perpetrators brought to the justice, RTS reported.

“The silence of the international community and Pristina institutions about this case will not discourage us to keep reminding on the perishing of these honourable men, who were kidnapped just because they carried out their duties and were Serbs,” Srpska Lista said in a press statement.

Srpska Lista sent a press statement asking where Sava Janjic was on 26 March, when representative of Albanians mindlessly kidnapped and dragged on Pristina streets Office for Kosovo and Metohija Director, Marko Djuric and brutally beaten up the Serbian people and its legitimate political representatives, TV Most reported.

Srpska Lista said Sava Janjic said no word about that back then, however, became very vocal yesterday recognizing himself, although Director Djuric never mentioned him in his statements.

Serbian Government Office for Kosovo and Metohija Director, Marko Djuric and Secretary General of the Serbian Presidency, Nikola Selakovic would visit Mitrovica North tomorrow, KIM Radio reports.

As it was announced, Djuric and Selakovic would meet representatives of Srpska Lista at 15.00 at the Amphitheatre of the Technical Faculty.

Serbian Government Office for Kosovo and Metohija, Marko Djuric commented the public posts of the Abbot of Visoki Decani Sava Janjic on social media and said that he does not expect today “a repentance and apology to our people in KiM from those who in someone else’s interest publicly accused their own state of planning an agreed crime against its people, and those who in a planned manner created fear and spread lies at a time that is politically and security-wise sensitive for our side,” Radio Kosovska Mitrovica reported.

Serbia is systematically weakened by false allegations against the state. The allegations of scenarios against its people in Kosovo made by various political and religious representatives. The security services received tasks in connection with these espionage activities, Serbian Government Office for Kosovo and Metohija Director Marko Djuric said, KoSSev portal reported.
