Council for National Security meets after Pristina platform (BETA, Tanjug, RTS, B92)

The session of the Serbian Council for National Security, convened by President Aleksandar Vucic, started a little after 08:30 hours CET on Friday in Belgrade.

The meeting is attended by Prime Minister Ana Brnabic, security agency BIA chief Bratislav Gasic, First Deputy PM and Foreign Minister Ivica Dacic, Interior Minister Nebojsa Stefanovic, Defense Minister Aleksandar Vulin, Army Chief Lieutenant General Milan Mojsilovic, Director of the Police Vladimir Rebic, and other officials.

Serbian government official condemns desecration of memorial in Velika Hoca (TV N1, BETA, KIM Radio)

Serbian Government Office for Kosovo and Metohija Director Marko Djuric condemned today the desecration of a memorial to the murdered and kidnapped Serbs from Orahovac municipality during the conflict in 1999.

Djuric said that the desecration of the memorial in the village of Velika Hoca outside Orahovac was “another mindless attack on a memorial for local Serbs who were murdered during the conflict in Kosovo”.

Fight for Trepca (Kontakt plus radio)

The registration of Trepca as a public company is a matter of days according to Kosovo PM Ramush Haradinaj.

Haradinaj perceives Belgrade as an obstacle for that, while at the same time he offered to Serbs seats in Main Board of Trepca, and, as Kontakt plus radio reported, they refused it.

Office for Kosovo and Metohija said that they would continue to prevent any attempt of the Serbian property usurpation.

Djuric: Toxic climate in Kosovo, Serbs treated as enemies (Tanjug, B92)

Attacks against Serbs in Kosovo and Metohija are consequence “of a toxic political climate” created by Albanian political leaders, Office for Kosovo and Metohija Director Marko Djuric said, Tanjug news agency reports. Djuric added they treat Serbs “as state enemies of their fake state.”

This is how Djuric commented on recent incidents affecting the Serb community in Kosovo, including cattle thefts and slaughtering, confiscation, stopping humanitarian aid.

Marko Djuric, Srpska Lista react to appointment of Minister of Agriculture (RTS, Tanjug)

Serbian Government Office for Kosovo and Metohija Director, Marko Djuric said that the newly appointed Minister of Agriculture in the Kosovo Government does not represent the Serbian people, adding such an act represents Pristina’s attempt to diminish unity among the Serbs, RTS reports.

Djuric noted “that newly appointed Haradinaj’s so-called minister of agriculture does not act in consultations and agreement with the institutions of the Serbian state and does not enjoy democratic legitimacy” and would be treated in accordance with that.

Raskovic Ivic: The division of KiM would lead to the exodus of Serbs living south of the Ibar (Danas)

People's Party Vice President Sanda Raskovic Ivic says that "delineation" with Kosovo Albanians is unconstitutional and that, if that happens, the leaders of the current regime will be responsible when the authority change and that the division of Kosovo leads to the exodus of Serbs living south of the Ibar River.

Belgrade: We’ll never give up on creation of Community of Serbian Municipalities (N1)

Serbia will never stop insisting on the formation of the Community of Serb Municipalities (CSM), a part of the Brussels Agreement signed in 2013, a Government official said on Tuesday, N1 reported.

Marko Djuric, the head of the Office for Kosovo and Metohija, Belgrade’s official name for its former province, said he was grateful to local Serbs, loyal to Belgrade, for not trying to form the CSM on their own.

Djuric: Pristina is mocking Trump’s requests (Tanjug, RTS)

Serbian Government Office for Kosovo and Metohija Director, Marko Djuric assessed Pristina authorities are mocking requests that USA President Donald Trump put forward in his letter, in which, as Djuric said, he unequivocally requested Pristina to revoke the tariffs, Tanjug news agency reported.

“Trump requested them to refrain from unilateral acts. And what did they do? Nothing. Not only that they did not revoke the tariffs, they also adopted Trepca statute which is a new unilateral attack against the Serbian properties,” Djuric told journalists in Belgrade.

Djuric: Pristina jeopardizes basic human rights (Danas)

Serbian Government Office for Kosovo and Metohija Director Marko Djuric met with Korean Ambassador to Serbia Hyoung-chan Choe and said Pristina with a series of unilateral acts in the recent months jeopardized stability on the ground, built over the years and endangered basic human rights of the Serb population in Kosovo, Danas daily reported.
