''CEC decision completely political and against democratic rights'' (Vecernje Novosti)

Belgrade based daily Vecernje Novosti reports that Stevan Veselinovic, a member of the Serbian List in the CEC, said that this decision was completely political and against the democratic rights of the Serbian people, that it was violation of all elementary rights of the Serbs.

Veselinovic announced an appeal to the Election Appeals Panel and then, if necessary, to higher court instances.

Central Election Commission confirmed the candidacies of representatives of the Democratic Party of Kosovo and the Self-Determination Movement, but not the representatives of the Serbian List, reports Serbian media.

According to RTS, members of the Election Commission from the Self-Determination Movement abstained during the voting and thus prevented the acceptance of the Serbian List candidate in this decision-making circle.

Pristina based daily Koha Ditore writes that Kosovo President, Hashim Thaci announced that the Serbian List planed participation in the local elections called in the four northern Kosovo municipalities, Serbian media are quoting.

The Pristina daily says that the Serbian List will participate in elections for mayors in the four Serb majority municipalities - but that mayors elected this way "will resign immediately after election (results) have been confirmed."

Vucic: I told the Serbs to wait for the end of the talks in Berlin (Serbian media)

A meeting of President Aleksandar Vucic with representatives of the Kosovo Serbs was held in the Palace of Serbia. After the meeting, Vucic said in a press conference that he advised them to wait for talks in Berlin, where he will meet with German Chancellor Angela Merkel and French President Emmanuel Macron, reports Belgrade based news agency Beta.

"Apart from everything else, Pristina is doing some other things. They want to revoke the right of Serbs to an opinion," Vucic said.

Representatives of Serbs from Kosovo to meet with Vucic (B92, Tanjug)

President Aleksandar Vucic and Government Office for Kosovo and Metohija chief Marko Djuric will meet with political representatives of Serbs from Kosovo.

The meeting will be held at noon on Wednesday in the Palace of Serbia. Participants will then address the media, the president's press service said.
