Serbian List states that today’s press release of Slavisa Ristic and Marko Jaksic has shown all of the hypocrisy, both their own and also the hypocrisy of Djilas's and Jeremic’s Alliance for Serbia, reports Zvecan based TV Most.
National Movement Fatherland from Kosovo and Metohija, headed by Slavisa Ristic, urged all Serbs in the north of Kosovo to boycott mayoral elections in the four northern municipalities, BETA news agency reported.
“By taking part in these elections the Serbs as people are only legalizing and legitimizing yet another Albanian state in the Balkans. This way they are moving away from their motherland Serbia,” the press statement said.
There are different warnings on alleged conflicts arriving from Belgrade over the last couple of months, including those about “possible attacks against the Serbs in the north” and “tensions” created by Pristina. Such statements can be heard almost on a daily basis from the Serbian President, Foreign Affairs Minister, members of Srpska Lista, and also Serbian Army Chief-in-Staff, Radio KIM reports.
However, some Serbs from the north of Kosovo think such statements aim to intimidate the population, while an intention to sign the agreement and hand over Kosovo has been behind it.
While massive protests are being held in the Serbian capital against the rise of verbal and physical violence in Serbia and the policies carried out by Serbian President, Aleksandar Vucic, with one of the four demands of the protesters for the perpetrators and the instigators of the murder of Oliver Ivanovic to be found, the most influential Kosovo Serb party – Srpska Lista continues to sign statements in which it negatively describes those it sees as opponents of that policy.
Serbian List (SL) replied to the Fatherland Movement by pointing out that “Slavisa Ristic (President of Fatherland Movement) in his desire to hide the truth with thousand lies, was trying to deceive the Serbian public, counting on that the citizens would forget all of the machinations and political misdeeds which he has committed with former and current politically like-minded people and partners,” TV Most reported.
A Serbian opposition MP’s open letter to Russian President Vladimir Putin drew fierce reactions from the ruling Serbian Progressive Party (SNS) which claimed that he made death threats against President Aleksandar Vucic.
In his letter, MP Slavisa Ristic drew parallels between Vucic and the late Prime Minister Zoran Djindjic who was assassinated in 2003 which SNS officials interpreted as a death threat.

Independent MP in the Serbian Assembly Slavisa Ristic said that he was not invited to a meeting with Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic in the northern part of Mitrovica, reported on Saturday KIM radio.
Ristic, who is also the former Mayor of Zubin Potok, said he believed that, unlike Kosovo deputies from the Serbian Progressive Party (SNS) in the Serbian Assembly, he was not invited because "there were not supposed to be people who tell the truth about what is happening in the north of Kosovo ".
