President Aleksandar Vucic met late on Thursday in Villa Mir in Belgrade with EU Neighborhood Policy and Enlargement Negotiations Commissioner Johannes Hahn. They discussed Serbia's European integration, the situation in the region and the problems in the dialogue with Pristina, B92 reports.

The EU commissioner "insisted on progress in the field of democracy and the rule of law for the benefit of society and the movement of Serbia on its European path."

President Aleksandar Vucic will on Thursday in Belgrade meet with Johannes Hahn, EU Commissioner for Neighborhood Policy and Enlargement Negotiations.

Vucic and Hahn will meet in Villa Mir in the Serbian capital at 19:30 hours CET, the president's press service has announced.

Earlier in the day, Vucic will attend the presentation of Hahn as a new Youth Sports Games ambassador, the press release said.

Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic said late on Tuesday he was surprised by US Ambassador Kyle Scott saying that "not only Pristina is to blame". Ambassador Scott said earlier the blame for the current relations between Belgrade and Pristina is also the absence of dialogue on both sides.

"I am surprised by Scott's statement. Hang on, man. They say, don't shift the blame. Say what we are guilty of?" Vucic said while on a Happy TV talk show.

The journalist remarked that some have asked Vucic to seal off passages towards Kosovo and Metohija "airtight."

Serbian President and ruling Serbian Progressive Party (SNS) leader Aleksandar Vucic says no final decision has been made on holding parliamentary elections. Elections will take place either in June, or in the spring of 2020, Vucic announced late on Monday, after a meeting of his party's presidency, B92 reported.

He said that the final decision had not been made yesterday - "but we are closer to calling them than before." "The SNS presidency was in favor of elections, with one abstention - mine," Vucic noted.

The central state ceremony of the 20^th anniversary of the NATO aggression and the Day of Remembrance of the victims was held in Nis, south Serbia, late on Sunday. The day marked 20 years since the western military alliance started its attacks on Serbia, that lasted 78 days.

Addressing the gathering President Aleksandar Vucic said that the death of 2,500 civilians during the NATO aggression, and especially 79 children, will always be a crime for us.

NATO aggression was a grave crime against a small sovereign country, but 20 years on, the Serb people remain unbowed, Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic said. He stated this at the opening of the 4th Belgrade Strategic Dialogue.

"Serbia and the Serb people are still unbowed today, but today we are in the process of a comprehensive process of state consolidation and I am convinced of a safe and successful future," Vucic emphasized.

Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic said on Sunday that if NATO is not able to protect the Serb people in the southern province, the Republic of Serbia will do so. Vucic was speaking on the occasion of the 15^th  anniversary of the March 2004 pogrom against Serbs in Kosovo and Metohija, the Serbian Government website said.

Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic expressed hope today the international community would continue with rational calls to Pristina to give up on the tariffs it imposed against Serbia and Serbian people, Tanjug news agency reported.

Vucic said during the meeting with Foreign Office Director General for Political Affairs Richard Moore Serbia would immediately after these anti-civilized measures are revoked, be ready to continue the talks with Pristina.

The leader of Independent Liberal Party (SLS) Slobodan Petrovic wrote an open letter to the Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic following Vucic’s claims that Petrovic allegedly voted in favor of the Kosovo platform for dialogue with Serbia and the formation of the Kosovo army as well as that he has organized “One in Five Million” protests in Gracanica, KoSSev portal reports

Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic will on Thursday receive representatives of the Bechtel-Enka Consortium. The meeting is expected to be attended by US and UK ambassadors to Serbia.
