“Mogherini in Belgrade – clear whom she supports” (BETA, Tanjug, RTS)

Centre for Foreign Policy Chairperson, Aleksandra Joksimovic told Serbian media that EU High Representative, Federica Mogherini with arrival to Belgrade showed a clear support to the Serbian side.

“Usual format of visits to the region includes tours in Belgrade and Pristina. The visit to Belgrade only, indicates a concrete and a clear support to Serbia, since Pristina is responsible for the violence in the north of Kosovo,” Joksimovic told RTS.

Serbian President spoke last night for RTS about the meeting with EU High Representative Federica Mogherini and situation in Kosovo and Metohija.

Previously a press statement was issued in which the EU High Representative Mogherini stressed that “what happened yesterday must not happen again.”

Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic spoke yesterday over the phone with USA State Department Assistant Secretary for European and Eurasian Affairs, Wess Mitchell, Serbian media reported referring to a press announcement posted on the President’s website.

“In a long and open talks, the President Vucic and USA official Mitchell exchanged stances over a brutal attack against the Office for Kosovo and Metohija Director, Marko Djuric, that happened on Monday in the north of Kosovo and Metohija,” the press statement reads.

Mogherini to visit Belgrade urgently (RTS)

According to the Serbian national broadcaster, EU High Representative for Security and Foreign Policy, Federica Mogherini would arrive to Belgrade this afternoon.

She is scheduled to meet the Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic and the topic would be continuation of the Belgrade-Pristina agreement.

Serbian Government Office for Kosovo and Metohija Director, announced today at a press conference that an EU representative would arrive to Belgrade, RTS reported.

Vucic has deadline till June to present Kosovo plan (Danas)

According to diplomatic sources, the West awaits results from today’s Vucic-Thaci meeting in Brussels, under the auspices of the EU High Representative Federica Mogherini, Danas daily writes today.

“Although there was no progress during the last round of technical talks regarding ZSO, it is possible that Vucic and Thaci would finally agree to establish a working group that would deal with this matter, however chances for reaching such agreement are rather slim,” Danas continues referring to its sources.
