Serbian Ministry of Culture condemned placing of Kosovo flag on the medieval Serbian fortress in Novo Brdo, Tanjug news agency reported. The Ministry noted that Pristina institutions “in the absence of their own cultural heritage reach out to seizing others”.

Serbian Government Office for Kosovo and Metohija Director Marko Djuric told RTS today Serbs should “monolithic and united” take part in the Kosovo elections, Danas daily reports.

President of European Serb Movement from Kosovo Rada Trajkovic announced a new coalition of Serbian parties and organizations that would take part in the possible extraordinary elections in Kosovo, TV N1 reports.

Association “Kosmetske zrtve” (Kosmet Victims) said it is disgraceful that Rada Trajkovic on a daily basis in domestic and Albanian media without any evidence attacks the leadership of Serbia and Srpska Lista representatives, in particular Milan Radojicic over alleged involvement in the murder of Oliver Ivanovic, Tanjug news agency reported. According to the Association, by such attacks Rada Trajkovic tries to shift attention of the public from a central subject and it is the crimes against Serbs committed by Haradinaj, Thaci, Veseli and Limaj.

Establishment of a coalition by compromised individuals and parties in Gracanica, lead by Rada Trajkovic is carried out with a sole aim to weaken political unity of Serbs in Kosovo and Metohija, and break the links between our people and Belgrade, Srpska Lista said in a statement, TV Most reports. Srpska Lista this way reacted to the reports that Rada Trajkovic, president of the European Serb Movement in Kosovo and other Serb politicians are having talks on establishing the coalition in Kosovo. Raska-Prizren Eparchy Bishop Teodosije served today a memorial service to 14 Serb harvesters, killed two decades ago, in the village of Staro Gracko, Lipljan municipality, SRNA news agency reported. Following the service, Bishop Teodosije said that “for twenty years we gather in Staro Gracko and recall this heinous crime for which no one was held responsible”. Beating up and arrest of 70-year old Vojislav Todorovic from Gnjilane at crossing point of Konculj is yet another attempt to intimidate the Serbs in Kosovo and Metohija, Srpska Lista said in a statement and urged the international community to stop “anti-Serbian hysteria”, RTS reports. SL added this incident caused uneasiness among the Serbs in Kosovo, in particular in Pomoravlje area.

Srpska Lista Deputy Chair Igor Simic told RTS the pressure on Serbs in Kosovo and Metohija would continue as parliamentary elections would approach. Speaking for the RTS news edition, Simic noted arrests of the Serbs represent an attempt to create an artificial balance because the Special Court started summoning former KLA members.
