Healthcare facility in Staro Gracko broken into for the fourth time (TV Most)

Unknown perpetrators have broken into healthcare facility in the village of Staro Gracko and caused material damage, TV Most reports. Only a few days ago, medical personnel found a broken window and demolished glass on the front part of the building. Given that facility is closed on weekends, it is uncertain if the latest incident occurred on Sunday or Saturday. The case has been reported to the Kosovo police.

Office for KiM strongly condemns burglary of Staro Gracko healthcare facility (Radio KIM)

Serbian Government Office for Kosovo and Metohija in the strongest terms condemned the fourth burglary of a healthcare facility located in the village of Staro Gracko, Radio KIM reports. The Office said in a statement that “Serbia would repair consequences of this and every other similar attack”. Those responsible for the attacks against the Serbian healthcare facilities in Kosovo and Metohija were not identified, and this undoubtedly encourages attackers to organize new incidents, the statement further reads.

Mayor of Gracanica municipality Srdjan Popovic in the strongest terms condemned the latest attack against the healthcare facility in the village of Staro Gracko saying that such acts cause disturbance and concern about the safety of the Serbian community in this area, Tanjug news agency reports. Popovic underlined it is incomprehensible that someone breaks into the healthcare facility that serves all communities living in that area and provides help to all of them.

Health facility in the village of Staro Gracko was broken into for the third time by unknown persons, causing material damages, RTV Gracanica reported. A nurse, Dragana Maksimovic found burglarized health facility this morning when she came to work. “I came to work this morning and found a broken window. I was afraid to enter. One door was violently broken as well, and next to it me and my collage found an axe there. Are they sending us a message (by doing this) I do not know, but we had to start working.

A group of underage persons lead by an adult entered the fenced area where a memorial plaque with the names of murdered Serb harvesters in Staro Gracko village was placed, RTS reports. They took photos showing the sign symbolizing the double-headed eagle of Albanian flag, RTS added. Surveillance cameras on the school “Braca Aksic” recorded the gathering and photographing on the spot where memorial plaque is placed. Names of 14 murdered harvesters and 5 Serbs killed during NATO bombing were written on the plaque.
