An Albanian flag was placed this morning at an annex of a building under construction, which houses King Milutin Elementary School, as well as Medicine high school and Engineering and Traffic high school, Director of the Engineering Traffic High School told KoSSev portal.

Popovic: Aim of attack against healthcare facility in Staro Gracko is to intimidate Serbs (Tanjug)

Mayor of Gracanica municipality Srdjan Popovic in the strongest terms condemned the latest attack against the healthcare facility in the village of Staro Gracko saying that such acts cause disturbance and concern about the safety of the Serbian community in this area, Tanjug news agency reports.

Popovic underlined it is incomprehensible that someone breaks into the healthcare facility that serves all communities living in that area and provides help to all of them.

Gracanica Mayor Srdjan Popovic told RTS that the meeting will confirm the unity between the state top and the Serbian List.

Before the session of the Serbian parliament on Kosovo scheduled for Monday, Vucic will speak with the political representatives of the Serbs from Kosovo in the Palace Serbia.

Three Serbian high school girls experienced an incident during hitchhiking (Kontakt plus)

Mayor of Gracanica, Srdjan Popovic, strongly condemned yesterday's incident that happened to three high school girls.

KIM radio reported that three girls were hitchhiking, when an Albanian stopped and gave them the ride, but refused to stop on the way to school which is in Laplje Selo. The case was confirmed to KIM radio by Bratislav Trajkovic, a commander of the police station in Gracanica.

Kozarev and Popovic discuss projects’ implementation in Gracanica (Tanjug, RTS)

Serbian Government Office for Kosovo and Metohija Deputy Director, Dusan Kozarev visited Gracanica municipality and discussed with its mayor Srdjan Popovic about implementation of the projects in this area to be financed by the Serbian Government, RTS reports.

According to Kozarev, Gracanica municipality has reasons to be optimistic since capital investments would follow and potential of this place would start to develop. He added, citizens of central Kosovo, can expect stronger presence of the Serbian state there.

Protest in Gracanica: Stop the war (KIM radio)

A protest was held in Gracanica regarding the decision of the Kosovo government to increase taxes on goods coming from Serbia and BiH to 100 percent, reports KIM radio.

The protest was attended by several hundred citizens, including representatives and employees of the Municipality of Gracanica, the Provisional Authority of Pristina Municipality, the Hospital Gracanica and the Health Center.

There are no Serbs in petition to merge Ugljare with Kosovo Polje municipality (RTK2, Radio kontakt plus)

A petition that Albanians from Ugljare village submitted to the Kosovo Polje municipality relates to the part of the village where they make up the majority, and not to the entire village, as some media reported, where Serbs make up the majority, RTK 2 reports.

Due to different announcements and incomplete information, Serb inhabitants from Ugljare village submitted to Gracanica municipality a request with 600 signatures to remain part of Gracanica municipality.

148 hectares of land returned to Gracanica (Kontakt plus radio)

The Municipality of Gracanica managed to recover more than 148 hectares of socially owned land with a total of 19 buildings from the Privatization Agency and through the competent Ministry and the Government of Kosovo, Kontakt plus radio reported.

The Mayor of Gracanica Srdjan Popovic said that this was a great success of the entire municipal leadership that managed to solve ''a decennial problem'' and to place 148 hectares of social land in its property.
