Another warning for the government (Kosovapress)

Trade Union of the Teachers is not the only one threatening with strike, due to the lack of implementation of 0.5 percent increase. Kosovo’s United Trade Union of civil servants gave an ultimatum of ten days to the government, to fulfill the promised increase of 0.5 percent from the beginning of this year.

The trade union of Administration, Jurisdiction, Healthcare, Police and the Federation of the Civil Servants of Kosovo announced that they will undertake joint pressure actions after this deadline.

Deputy Prime Minister Thaçi starts series of meetings at the Holy See (Koha)

The First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kosovo, Hashim Thaçi, is on an official visit at the Vatican today where he will meet with cardinals of the Holy See.

Deputy Prime Minister Thaçi will meet the President of the Holy See's Pontifical Council for the Family and bishop emeritus of the diocese of Terni-Narni-Amelia in Italy, Monsignor Vincenzo Paglia.

Preparation of the formation of the ZSO, a test for government in Pristina (RTS)

After two months of boycott due to the shift of the Minister for return, Aleksandar Jablanovic, representatives of Serbs from yesterday again are active in Kosovo institutions. The first test for implementing agreed in the functioning of the ruling coalition will be to establish working bodies to create documents of the Community of Serbian municipalities.

Priorities of the Serb representatives are appreciation of the coalition partners and strengthening of the Serb presence in the judiciary, police and other aspects of management.

Agreement on Brezovica to be signed today (KIM Radio)

Kosovo government and French consortium "MDP Consulting - Company de Alpi" are supposed to sign an agreement on construction of the ski-center Brezovica amounting to EUR 410 million.

Inter-ministerial group of the Project for development of the touristic center Brezovica assessed on 7 April that conditions are met for signing the agreement with the French consortium. Kosovo ministers of trade and industry, finance, Euro-integrations, agriculture, spatial planning, local government administration and the Mayor of Štrpce/Shtërpcë agreed with most of the counts of the agreement.

Mustafa: We will extend our sovereignty in the entire territory (RTKlive)

The Prime Minister of Kosovo, Isa Mustafa, said during the ceremony of marking the seventh anniversary of the Constitution of Kosovo that sovereignty will be exercised in the entire territory. He said that seven years ago, the Constitution, as the most supreme judicial act , crowned the independence of Ksoovo. Mustafa remembered also those who gave their lives for this significant day for Kosovo.

Student Parliament: The University in North Mitrovica will not integrate into Kosovo’s system (Kossev)

Parliament of the Faculty of Philosophy of the University of Pristina, temporarily seated in North Mitrovica denies that this University will integrate into the Kosovo education system. This was announced today by the Student Parliament of the Faculty of Philosophy.

Job with a diploma from the University of Northern Mitrovica (RTK2, Koha Ditore)

The Kosovo government has expressed its intention to accept cadres from the University of North Mitrovica into public institutions, relocated after the war in Pristina.

"Koha Ditore" reports that the draft provides for the introduction of the University of Mitrovica into legal flows, and the government of Kosovo say they have a constructive approach in two directions.

The first involves a review of the compatibility of the Statute of the University of Mitrovica and harmonization with the central laws in order to integrate into Kosovo's legal framework.
